Business Office & Payment Policies:

Palo Verde Pediatrics is contracted with most major Insurance plans (a list is provided). If we are contracted with your plan, we will bill the insurance for any services rendered in the hospital or office. Please be advised any applicable co pays are due at the time of service. If your health insurance is not a contractual plan, payment is expected at the time of service, and it is your responsibility to bill your insurance.

We request that a current copy of your child’s insurance card be presented at each visit. In the case of a newborn; the parents’ card will suffice until the new card for your child is received. **** It is imperative that you remember to call your insurance to add your newborn to your policy within the first thirty days following the birth.**** If your child is not added to the policy within the time allotted, any outstanding monies due will be the responsibility of the parents.

New Patients should arrive twenty minutes prior to their appointment time to complete a new patient package. Additionally, please notify the front desk any time you have: an insurance change, change of address, or change in telephone number.

Please be advised that part of the “New Patient” package is a financial agreement which states that any or all charges not covered by insurance will be the responsibility of the parent. If the charges become delinquent, the account will be turned for collection which will sever our patient/physician relationship.
